Risk Disclosure

Effective October 13, 2026Last updated October 13, 2026

You can lose everything. Digital assets are extremely volatile and largely unregulated. Automated trading can lose money quickly, and selling your own token can push its price down. Only use assets you can afford to lose completely. Astra does not guarantee any price, volume, revenue, floor or result.

1About this disclosure

This Risk Disclosure forms part of the Terms of Service of Astra Technologies LLC ("Astra"). It describes the main risks of using Astra Market Maker (the "Services"), but it cannot list every risk. New risks can appear at any time. Read it carefully, and get independent legal, financial and tax advice before you use the Services.

2Market and price risk

Digital asset prices can rise or fall sharply, in minutes, for any reason or for no clear reason. Small and newly launched tokens are especially volatile and can lose most or all of their value suddenly. Past prices, volume and activity do not predict future results.

3Selling your own token

  • Sell pressure. Every sale a Strategy makes adds supply to the market and can lower your token's price, cancel out part of buyers' impact, and slow or reverse upward momentum.
  • Community reaction. Holders, traders and analytics tools can see wallet activity on-chain. They may view automated selling as "dumping", lose confidence, sell, or publicly criticise your project, even if you have disclosed it.
  • Disclosure duties. Depending on your jurisdiction, your token, and the promises you have made (for example about vesting, lockups or treasury use), you may be legally required to disclose your selling. Failing to do so can create legal liability for you.
  • Wallet rotation. Rotating wallets makes selling harder for bots to target. It does not hide activity from blockchain analysis, and it must never be used to mislead anyone.

4Buy-backs and floor defense

  • Buying into sells spends your Native Asset. In a sustained decline, buy-backs can use up your budget while the price keeps falling, leaving you with more of a falling token and less Native Asset.
  • A floor price is a setting, not a guarantee. Large sellers, liquidity removal or a market-wide crash can push the price below any floor, and the Strategy may be unable to stop it.
  • Buy-back and floor settings may draw down the Native Asset needed for gas, causing later transactions to fail.

5Liquidity and slippage

Thin liquidity means even small trades can move the price a lot. Trades may fill at worse prices than expected, up to your slippage limit, or not at all. Liquidity providers can remove liquidity at any time, which can make a token impossible to sell at any reasonable price. Projections that depend on liquidity may be badly wrong.

6Front-running, MEV and adversarial bots

Public blockchains let other parties see pending transactions and reorder them. Sniper bots, MEV searchers and sandwich attackers may front-run, back-run or sandwich your Strategy's trades, causing worse prices. Because a Strategy reacts to market activity in a rule-based way, other participants may learn its behaviour and try to exploit it, for example by triggering trades on purpose. Randomised frequency, minimum trade sizes, slippage limits and wallet rotation can reduce, but cannot remove, these risks.

7Execution and technology risk

  • The Services are complex software and may contain bugs, errors or vulnerabilities that cause wrong, missed, duplicated or delayed trades, or loss of assets.
  • Outages of Astra, hosting, RPC nodes, indexers or other infrastructure can stop Strategies from trading, collecting or protecting a floor when you need it most.
  • Network congestion and gas spikes can delay or fail transactions, and failed transactions can still cost fees.
  • We may pause Strategies for security, legal or technical reasons, at times that are inconvenient or costly for you.

8Market data risk

Prices, liquidity, volume, charts and pool information come from third-party providers such as DexScreener and from blockchain nodes. They can be delayed, incomplete, manipulated or wrong. Fake or spoofed pools can show misleading prices. Strategies and projections that rely on such data may behave unexpectedly.

9Blockchain, smart contract and token risk

  • Blockchains can suffer outages, forks, reorganisations, consensus failures and attacks.
  • Decentralised exchanges, liquidity pools and bridges are smart contracts that can be hacked, exploited, paused or upgraded in harmful ways.
  • Token contracts can contain features such as transfer taxes, blacklists, pausing, minting, upgradeable code or trading limits, which can block, tax or reverse the economics of a Strategy's trades. You are responsible for knowing how your token works.
  • Transactions are irreversible. Assets sent to a wrong address or network, or lost in an exploit, usually cannot be recovered.

10Wallet, key and account risk

  • Anyone who gets your private key, sign-in email, Google or Apple account, or 2FA device may be able to take your assets.
  • Exported private keys are entirely your responsibility. If they are lost, stolen or leaked, the assets in that wallet can be lost permanently.
  • Phishing sites, fake support accounts and malware are common in crypto. Astra will never ask for your private keys, seed phrase or 2FA codes.
  • The Services rely on third-party wallet infrastructure. A failure, compromise or change of that provider could affect your access to Strategy Wallets.

11Proceeds and Native Asset risk

Strategy proceeds are received in the Native Asset of the network (such as SOL, ETH, BNB or POL), not in US dollars. Their value changes with the market and can fall significantly before you convert them. On networks where USDC is used, stablecoins can lose their peg, be frozen by their issuer or face regulatory action. US dollar figures in the Services are estimates at the time shown.

13Tax risk

Each trade a Strategy makes may be a taxable event. Automated strategies can create a large number of taxable transactions. Tax treatment of digital assets is uncertain and varies by jurisdiction. You are solely responsible for your tax reporting and payments. Astra does not provide tax advice or tax reports.

14Projections, examples and the Cash-out Guarantee

Calculators, projections, goal trackers, charts and examples on our website and in the app are illustrations based on assumptions. They are not forecasts or promises, and real results can be much worse, including zero. The Cash-out Guarantee is a limited, one-time refund of a first subscription fee on the conditions in our Terms. It does not protect you against any trading loss or decline in token value.

15No investor protection

Your digital assets are not bank deposits and are not protected by any deposit insurance, investor compensation scheme or government guarantee. Astra does not insure your assets. Astra is not regulated as a financial institution in respect of the Services, and you may not have the protections that regulated financial services provide.

16Business continuity risk

Astra could stop offering the Services, change them, or cease operations. Because Strategy Wallets belong to you, your assets should remain accessible using your private keys, but automation, data, history and convenience features would stop. Keep your own records, and make sure you can export your keys.

17Your own mistakes

Wrong settings, a mistyped address, choosing the wrong network or pool, leaving too little gas, or starting a Strategy you do not fully understand can cause losses. Settings that sell too aggressively can harm your token's price. Settings that buy too aggressively can drain your budget. Start small, review every setting, and monitor your Strategies regularly.

18Your acknowledgement

By using the Services you confirm that you have read and understood this Risk Disclosure, that you have the knowledge and experience to evaluate these risks or have taken independent advice, that you use the Services entirely at your own risk, and that Astra is not liable for losses arising from these risks, as set out in our Terms of Service.
